BEAM//Live - See the short film, new site and next date announcement
BEAM//Live - Bristol Exchange of Arts & Music - debuted at the Watershed on 29th March, with DJs Scott Hendy and Cheeba cutting music and film, whilst street artist Inkie created inspired art on the big screen..
BEAM Live to debut at Watershed in March
BEAM (Bristol Exchange of Arts & Music) in association with Bristol Music Foundation and Watershed are proud to announce the inaugural BEAM Live at Bristol's cultural cinema and digital creativity centre, the Watershed on March 29th. Curator Scott Hendy (Malachai/Boca 45) will be joined by DJ Cheeba (Ninja Tune/Solid Steel) and celebrated street artist Inkie (See No Evil) to create a meld of cut n spliced audio, projections and film, with live street art via iPad (a UK first) around a pre-conceived theme. The event is free, subject to capacity and kicks off at 10pm. Don't miss this unique night!
Arts Council England launches strategic £440 million funding
The Arts Council has today published details of how it will invest £440 million of strategic funding between 2012 and 2015, including two new programmes for Capital and Touring.
See No Evil Takes Over Nelson St in Bristol
This summer Bristol will play host to the most ambitious permanent street art project ever to take place in the UK and Europe. The world’s leading street artists will paint the facades of ten multi-storey buildings along a major city centre street (Nelson Street) as part of a brand new event called ‘See No Evil’
