AIM advice day: Juggling Publishing and Recording Companies
It’s becoming more and more common for people to run small publishing companies alongside record labels. The Association of Independent Music is hosting an advice day for people doing this.
AIMs next Big Wednesday event will be on the topic of
running label and publishing companies alongside each other,
and will examine the issues, advantages and pitfalls of doing
so. The event is set to take place on Wednesday 19th July
2006 from 6-9pm at University of London Union (ULU), Malet
Street, London.
The focus of the evening will be a panel of speakers
experienced in this area, with panel members including:
Simon Harvey (Echo/Chrysalis), Ronen Guha (Bucks Music
Group), Adrian Kemp (Ninja Tune) and Peter Cornish
(Fairwood Music). The event is free for members and £25
for non-members (£20 for MMF, BPI & MPA members).
To reserve your place, please register online at the AIM
website using the link below. The deadline for registrations
is Friday 14th July 2006.
Ticket Price (Including VAT): £25.00
