After the sold out success of the past two years, MSW 2011 will this year be based in two different locations to provide a wider regional coverage. The two day event will be split between Exeter and Bristol, incorporating our new homes at the Phoenix in Exeter (Friday 25th) and the Watershed in Bristol (Saturday 26th). We will also host live events on each evening, comprising very special international, national and local live acts, a further opportunity to network and take in some fine music.
As ever we will be hosting two days of industry talks and discussions with a host of eminent guest speakers from across the music industry, providing invaluable insights into an ever changing industry, and providing the opportunity to network with peers and professionals, covering topics ranging from digital, marketing, business, live, promotion, audiences, education, finance, rights, royalties, film, TV, brands, bands, fans, and funds. The programme will be different on each day.
Whether an aspiring or professional musician, label, publisher, promoter, artist manager, agent, video maker, or even just a fan of music wanting to know more about the industry, come on down.
This year we have a strictly limited capacity, and with the last two years selling out quickly, move now to secure your place.
Speakers confirmed include:
Ed O’Brien (Radiohead)
Alan Bearman (Sidmouth Folk Week)
DJ Krust
Anyone Can Play Guitar
Crack Magazine
Featured Artists Coalition
Music Managers Forum
PRS for Music
