Event Organisers- We're on the lookout for people who've got what it takes to organise their own Oxjam event this October. If it's your first time, Oxjam is a great way to gain music or events experience. Promoters- If you regularly promote events, making one of them an Oxjam event is your chance to be part of the UK's biggest festival line-up. Your event will also benefit from Oxjam's national marketing activity and celebrity endorsement, and you’ll be helping us smash our ambitious targets to fund Oxfam's life-saving work. Performers- Playing at an Oxjam event means you will be on the bill at one of the UK’s largest music festivals – and you’ll be helping raise money for some of the world’s poorest people while your at it. Hundreds of events from rock to electro to classical take place throughout October, so there are loads of opportunities for you or your band to perform. Venues- Oxjam work with amazing venue managers who donate their venues to be part of the UK’s biggest festival line-up. Along with hundreds of local event organisers, venues are also used for our multi-venue city Takeover events, training events and fundraising events, and benefit from our extensive marketing and new audiences, aswell as being part of the UK's biggest Festival and helping us to fight poverty around the world. Volunteers- If you’re looking for music experience or just want to get involved but don’t feel like putting on your own event, why not help out at one of the hundreds of Oxjam events taking place around the country? Our event organisers and regional teams are looking for brilliant people to help with marketing, ticketing, production and fundraising.

Since the first festival in 2006, Oxjam has raised more than £1.5 million in total for Oxfam’s work. That’s enough to buy 13,000 emergency shelters; 60,000 goats or 900 classrooms.

Oxfam is a vibrant global movement of dedicated people fighting poverty. Together. From saving lives and developing projects that put poor people in charge of their lives and livliehoods to campaigning for change that lasts.

Sign up on the website to benefit from training days across the UK held throughout July, in partnership with O2 Academies and LiveNation. These events give you the chance to meet and talk with music industry experts, share ideas with other Oxjam event organisers, learn the basics of event production and promotions and find out more about where the money you raise will go.

You don’t have to be a professional event organiser to put on a show. And we’re here to help. Once you register, you’ll have access to all our helpful resources.

Celebrity supporters include Jarvis Cocker, Kaiser Chiefs, Hot Chip, and Kasabian. Last October Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Editors, Roots Manuva and others performed intimate gigs in an Oxfam shop to launch the festival. Media and industry partners have included MTV, Xfm, O2 Academies, Live Nation and Festival Republic.

However, at its heart Oxjam is a grassroots festival, created by a network of music lovers stretching from Penzance to Fort William. Oxjam is thousands of volunteers and hundreds of thousands of fans making music and fighting poverty in their local communities.

After five successful years, Oxjam is now the UK’s biggest festival line-up and 2011 is set to be bigger and better than ever!
