It is a professional studio particularly targeted at singer/songwriters, acoustic acts, keyboard / vocalists but can also accommodate bands depending on the setup/requirement. The Live Room has space for a typical 5 piece with full kit. The studio operates approx 3/4 days a week alongside the producers work as a singer/songwriter/performer in many venues ( locally and further afield ). At ITG we aim to be far more than a just a studio, focusing on a smaller number of clients each month we aim to offer a more creative and encouraging environment which brings out the very best in your performance. We realise that there is so much more to a good studio session than recording equipment ( though we have a lot of that as well ). The studio is in a purpose built, sound proofed and acoustically treated detached unit with a separate live and control room. ITG is operated by an experienced singer and published songwriter with several years of professional music experience.

www.itg-productions.com Taking their name from the victim of an unsolved 1940’s murder (in which a cinema manager was shot in his projection room – the shot timed to coincide with a shot in the movie that was being shown at the time), Parrington Jackson are a melting pot of varied influences, and are inspired by life’s many twists, tales, woes and conspiracies. They echo the likes of The Cure, Pink Floyd, Interpol and Biffy Clyro, yet retain a sense of identity and uniqueness of their own. Although heavily guitar driven, Parrington Jackson are always looking to experiment and develop their sound. They have established a collaborative writing ethos that shines through in the diversity of their music, one which aims to be catchy yet challenging, always seeking to surprise and entertain. Meeting through ads and friends of friends, they immediately set about performing live, cutting their teeth around venues all over the Southwest of the UK. In the spring of 2009 they headed into the studio to record a three-track CD entitled ‘Drapes’, which was immediately picked up by BBC Bristol Introducing and received numerous airings. All five members are equally dedicated to their common goal, unified in their desire to succeed. They are an ambitious band who are constantly striving to create better and better songs, to push themselves as musicians, and perform the best shows they possibly can.
