I have just relocated to Bristol after working in the music, event and media industry in Wales for the last five years since gaining my BA Hons 2.1 degree in media & business.

I have worked for several large companies including Live Nation, FMC, Barfly, BBC, HTV and Oxfam and have developed a huge passion for working in live events, music and the media.

In 2006 – I put together my own festival for 1000 people – here I was stage manager, festival director and promoter – which was a huge success.

I have volunteered for Oxfam – for the last few years – where I started off as a steward then became a supervisor – This led me to volunteered for Oxjam and for the last two years have put on and run music events to raise money and awareness in Swansea.

I have been a supervisor in my job – part time for last 3 years at a music & hospitality venue where I run a team of up to 10 people, I’m in charge of money, stock and cash handling and up selling products and I must comply with the health and safety standards and licensing laws involved with each event.

Through out the summer I work at festivals from bar supervising to stewarding all to gain invaluable experience, to make new contacts and appreciate live music.

I have worked for Ponty Fest for last 2 years as steward coordinator – running a team of up to 100 people, briefing them, compiling pamphlets and organising shifts & rotas.

For the last year I have also worked for various nightclubs in Swansea – organising nights, booking gigs and handing out flyers.

I am a highly creative individual, skilled in innovative thinking whilst also able to be meticulously organized with strong attention to detail. I am an excellent communicator and able to negotiate with others both verbally and using written skills. I am highly skilled at leading a team whilst also able to work effectively within a team framework

I am highly efficient with excellent time management skills and able to organize, prioritise and manage projects and people effectively. I work well both as a valuable member of a team and as a leader. I also am an extremely motivated, committed and determined individual and will aim to be an asset to any company I work for.
