Consuelo started out as a classical pianist in Milan where she was borne.
Consuelo’s determination to become an established musician/composer and her interests in production led her to move to Manchester in 1995, where she graduated in BA (Hons) Popular Music & Recording at Salford University, Greater Manchester, specialising in composition.
Consuelos focus is now the realisation of her debut album as a singer-songwriter. In 2006, she recorded an acoustic EP “Bittersweet” in Cornwall, and in 2008, she recorded more songs in a recording studio in Swanage.
Consuelo has gigged at the Acorn thetre, Penzance, Cornwall, with Solid Air & Anthony in the Bournemouth area, where she is currently based.
Since the 2008 recordings, Consuelo has created many more songs, that she hopes to be able to record one day, finances permitting.

www.247mag.co.uk 's December 2006 review of my EP: "From Milan to Manchester to Penzance, singer/songwriter CONSUELO Scivoletto has pursued her musical ambitions with admirable determination. The Bittersweet EP is her first endeavour into the public domain, showcasing six stark yet effective, piano-driven songs of melancholy and hope steeped in classical, folk and pop leanings. The likes of Keep It 4 Yourself reveal a rich, textured voice with echoes of female luminaries such as Liz Fraser, Dolores O'Riordan and Alanis Morissette, but it's Consuelo's strong Spanish (argh, got that wrong...i'm Italian!!) accent that lends a unique flavour and power to the songs. It seems as if all the hard work and travelling is paying off. Kudos to you." BB

Acoustic EP "Bittersweet", was reviewed on the Daily Echo on Friday, October 26, 2007 by Sarah Cartlidge, who wrote: "Singer songwriter Consuelo with a collection of six, piano-led songs are anadorned and uncomplicated but commanding and touch on her classical background, as well as her love of pop and melodic rock, glossed with her strong Italian accent, which sounds particularly pronunced on tracks I Tond You That I Love You and Keep It 4 Yourself. Bittersweet makes for imaginative and atmospheric listening".
