Key Clients

Our clients cover several creative areas. Music - Cod, London Song Company and FTGaana. Others include Anna Martin (art) Geraldine MacDonald (art), Mirellie Gourbin (textiles). We also provide graphics for the RWA mag and work with local charities such as Integrate Bristol.

We aim to provide work that is visually stimulating and enticing to the viewer – whether graphic, web or video – in the belief that you have to get people’s interest immediately and keep it. We also believe that providing good design needs a partnership approach with the client and that together we arrive at the best result for the job. Our other main view is that good design does not have to be expensive.

We have only been in Bristol for a couple of years and love living and working here. We very much want to expand our work will all sectors of the local music industry; not least because our MD is a musician and songwriter!

Al RItchie

MD
Al started Alternotion some seven years ago with the aim of providing good, affordable and effective design for the Arts and Alternative sectors. Previously, Al worked in the software industry in a variety of roles (sales, consultancy, management...) but finds design much more fun. His role in Alternotion is to run the company and generate sales. Al has a background in music as a bass player and guitarist, having played in a number of bands down the years. Tina Lynch

Designer
Tina has worked at Alternotion since early 2010, having previously worked as a freelance graphic and web designer. Tina enjoys working alongside clients to create beautiful designs that fit their individual tastes and needs. She believes in a collaborative and communicative design process, allowing the client to develop their ideas with all the technical and creative support they need. Tina has a background in fine art, another visual outlet that lead her naturally towards work as a designer. Coming from a typically musical Irish family, she also enjoys singing, music making and having the Craic!
