Hey, I’m Alex
I started singing when I was 12 helped by a wonderful singing teacher, Hannah Wood (Sound of the Sirens). Tired of having to ask people to play guitar for me I started playing guitar myself and now have lessons with the fantastic Chris Woods
I am now 14 and I was a finalist in the EXETER FM Song For Force Competition in November 2010, won by the great Morning Rush. Since then I sing regularly at various open mic events in and around my hometown of Exeter, I have sung live on local radio – EXETER FM, PHONIC Fm and BBC Radio Devon (coming up on 27.4.11) and taken part in a couple of gigs at the popular MAMA STONES. I am one of four finalists in the BREAKTHROUGH MUSIC PROJECT run by The Sound Gallery in Exeter.
I am due to sing at the eChO Festival in Exeter in June 2011 and at the EXMOUTH FESTIVAL in May 2011 – really looking forward to that.
