Independents Day 2010 – Celebrating Independent Music Around the UK
AIM are pleased to announce plans for the third annual celebration of Independents Day (ID10). This year, Independents Day is going on the road with the main events taking place outside of London for the first time.
As always the event will be championing the best of independent music, placing a spotlight on the most unique, diverse and exciting music in the UK. Information on Independents Day 2010 can be found on the official blog: http://independentsdayuk.wordpress.com/.
More information will follow in coming weeks through the independents Day blog
Independent bands, artists and music fans across the country are encouraged to celebrate independent music on 18th September and throughout the month by hosting gigs under the ID10 banner, creating playlists on popular sites like Sharemyplaylist.com and spreading the word on Twitter and other social networks.
