FAIR FREE AND LOCAL – KEYNSHAM GETS READY TO PARTY

This year’s free Keynsham Music Festival is taking place in the lovely Keynsham Memorial Park on Sunday 4 July. With four stages showcasing some of the best unsigned bands in the area, as well as children’s theatre, a creative arena with free workshops for the family, stalls, delicious healthy international food and local real ale, this is definitely a festival to put on the calendar.

Highlights include Owl in the Sun, melody driven acoustic music rooted in folky americana and gypsy jazz; Black Flamez, renowned local reggae band; Jon Amor with his dynamic and exuberant live performance of exquisitely penned songs; Cousin Avi, young and passionate musicians playing a wild fusion of funk, jazz, reggae and soul; and Keynsham’s very own irresistible Fat Man Swings who are guaranteed to get everyone dancing.

Keynsham also hosts high profile performances in the town during the festival week, including the exclusive Pindrop Club on Wednesday 30 June and the popular City of Bath Male Choir on Friday 2 July.

The festival in the park is free but they do ask for a donation of £2 per adult.
