DESCRIPTION:This is an invitation for independent UK Urban record labels to join a forum speciaic to this music genre, hosted by AIM.
Billy Grant (2Point9, AIM Board Member) and Remi Harris (AIM General Manager) are holding a forum for UK Urban Independent record labels.
The Association of Independent Music was an organisation that began in 1999, to represent independent music of all genres. Remi and Billy are taking the initiative to reach out to more Urban Independents, to discuss what role AIM could play in supporting their businesses, and would like to invite members and non-members to attend.
The purpose of the meeting is to:  
1) Meet AIM staff and network with them and other Urban Independents.
2) Represent what the no. 1 issue affecting your business is, and to get a picture of whether others share your issue-maybe to find some solutions on the night, or in the future. 
3) Debate what role AIM could/should play in supporting Urban Independents or how other organisations could fit around what AIM do.
4) Discuss whether Urban Music needs its own organisation or to be more visible and vocal within the existing industry organisations.
