Creative Apprenticeships

“Taking the young talent of this nation and turning it into what we know will be the economic engine of this nation is the most important obligation we’ve got”.

The BMF (Bristol Music Foundation) has been working closely with Creative & Cultural Skills and the Learning & Skills Council to support the take up of Creative Apprenticeships in the South West.

The BMF is committed to contributing to employer led skills development in the region to safeguard the future of our industry.

In 2010 we created the Teenage Rampage Apprenticeships programme which saw several young people take the Glastonbury Safety Passport Programme and work on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury 2010, the 5000 Morris Dancers festival at the South Bank and the Music South West Live Fringe.

At March 2011: we are currently further developing a programme with employers around Teenage Rampage Apprenticeships. This is now unlikely to be part of the Creative Apprenticeship programme. If you would like more details please contact teenagerampage@bristolmusicfoundation.com
