The BMF is working with UKTI South West to provide export and international development support to Canada for artists and businesses based in the South West of England.

This support is focused initially on a trade mission to Toronto that will take place on 12th to 14th March 2010 during Canadian Music Week.

The BMF will be joint hosting a reception at Canadian Music Week on Saturday 13th March.

The mission includes:

Travel Support: a FREE British Airways return business class flight is available to eligible participants.

• Attendance at Canadian Music Week events (subject to event registration fee)
• Group networking event
• Contact identification and meeting arrangement service via the UKTI team in Toronto
• Free copy of OMIS report on the Creative Sector in Canada (July 09) worth £1956
• Support from UKTI and BMF staff before, during and after the visit

We will further develop our links to Canada through the British Consulate in Toronto, the Canadian Independent Music Association, and industry partners after the trade mission and Canadian Music Week.
