IC Music launch at The Great Escape

Roll up, roll up, it’s that time of year again when the UK music scene heads to Brighton to be entertained, to make deals, to celebrate music, have a drink or two and wake up with more than one hangover!

The Great Escape has been established since 2006 as one of the highlights of the UK music industry, showcasing real talent from the UK and abroad. Taking place in Brighton over 3 days in May, The Great Escape kicks starts the festival season, introducing 15,000 music lovers to the key artists and sounds of the year.

With over 300 bands playing in 30 venues over 3 days, The Great Escape is a key date in the music calendar. In addition to pre-publicised performances, impromptu street gigs spring up all over town. The Alternative Escape, numerous club nights, label parties, industry showcases, unique collaborations and outdoor gigs all add to the festivities.

And this year will see the launch of IC Music, the project set to promote opportunities for bands from UK, France & Belgium to get touring across the borders, building relationships and creating connections with active venues from the 3 nations. This can only be a great thing!
