On Thurs 3rd March, Teenage Rampage was selected as the national London 2012 Cultural Olympiad project to help unveil the Olympic rings at St Pancras international station. Teenage Rampage Exeter heat winner Alice Jemima from Newton Abbott in Devon performed 4 songs before the Rings were revealed by Seb Coe, Chair of the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG), and Mayor of London Boris Johnson.

The event was covered by national press and broadcast live on BBC London.

Congratulations to Alice Jemima for a fantastic performance that won over all present.

“Dear Alice, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for your performance at last week’s ‘unveiling’ of the Olympic Rings at St Pancras International. I wanted you to know that we all thoroughly enjoyed your performance and your efforts to come to London to perform at our event. I’m so glad you became involved in the London 2012 Inspire mark programme, Teenage Rampage, and that this has given you the opportunity to perform.” Seb Coe, Chair, LOCOG
