Cam Jenkins, Korda Marshall & Seth Jackson for MSW 11
Stranger Records founder and supremo Cameron Jenkins will be speaking at Music South West 2011 in Bristol on 26th Nov.
Cam has an extensive background in music and recently formed Stranger Records in order to work with and release the artists he loved. Very simple. His first signing was Lana Del Ray who’s track ‘Video Games’ has made waves everywhere with support coming from across the globe and playlisting leading to a high chart position. Cam now has a number of well know people wanting to work with Lana Del Ray. Stranger Records is a new and very exciting label that is fiercely independent in its A&R, development and marketing strategies.
Don’t miss the chance to meet and hear Cameron.
In addition, the man who signed Muse, Ash, Take That, Temper Trap and many more over a significant career will be back to discuss hi own work and input into music development in the South West. Korda Marshall, former head of Atlantic, East West and Warners is now a member of the steering group with a set aim to improve the opportunities for musicians in the South West.
Head of Media at PIAS, Seth Jackson, is based in Bristol when he is not in London, France or Belgium and is also on that steering group. Seth handles the digital media campaigns for PIAS artists including Adele, Dizzy Rascal, Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32 and Example. Seth will be with us on 26th Nov in Bristol.
