The BMF heads to Brighton with the great and the good of South West music to run a one-day mini convention on Thurs 14th May at the Great Escape 09.

Speakers on the day will include:
Chris Morrison (CMO), Korda Marshall (Infectious), Nick Williams (BRIT School), Alison Tickell (Julie’s Bicycle), John Empson (Eden Sessions), Jack Kingslake (Hi Road), Seth Jackson (Indie Mobile), Matt Booth (BMF) plus representatives of Dorset Music Forum, Gloucestershire Music Forum, Somerset Music Hub, Exeter Music Group, Plymouth Music Collective, and Swindon Music Forum. Plus we’ll be taking a look at Dubstep and Bristol’s Multi Cultural Music History.

We will also be bringing Bristol Media along with us, and are delighted Bristol City Council, Somerset County Council and Swindon Borough Council will be joining us to discuss developing regional networks in the South West and collaborative music development. Marvellous.

Join us for drinks at the BMF Party from 5 til 7pm on the day with live music from the very wonderful Carrivick Sisters, plus the Volt and Joe 90 (Future Boogie).

We shall be announcing some rather fine giveaways over the weeks to come plus more info on our event and the Great Escape itself.

Plus all the South West acts that will be playing across Brighton from 14th to 16th May.

BMF has discount delegate and hotel places. If you are in the South West then please contact us at info@bristolmusicfoundation.com. Get involved! And quickly, cos places are running out.

The Great Escape presents an unrivalled opportunity to get in front of over 3,000 international delegates and be part of a very strong presence there for the South West of England. And it is all part of a trip away to the seaside.

How nice.
