National Skills Academy at Music South West
We invite you to join us for an update on the National Skills Academy for Creative and Cultural Skills and the situation in the South West at Music South West on 11th November in Bristol.
There will be a full update on the NSA and a discussion to develop the agenda for a new national industry skills conference to take place in 2010.

The National Skills Academy will also be discussed on a panel that will look at skills, licensing, finance, professional development, and business networks in live music.
Speakers now confirmed:
Tracey McNulty (National Skills Academy), Mike Richmond (Richmond Event Management), Conal Dodds (Metropolis Music / V Festivals), Ben Challis (Glastonbury / A Greener Festival), Dominique Czopor (We:Live / Boiler Room, Guildford), Ian Rogers (Orange Box, Yeovil / Somerset Music Hub)
Dominique Czopor will provide an update on We:Live and the plan to create a national network of independent venues and promoters that will support business development and challenges faced by small venues and independent promoters.
The panel will follow the Association of Indpendent Festivals panel, “How Was the Summer for the UK Live Scene?” with speakers including Katrina Larkin (Big Chill), John Empson (Eden Sessions) and Dan Rafferty (Shambala).
Martin Elbourne (Glastonbury / Great Escape) will open the day with a keynote speech.
